Josh Allen to Arizona: JUCO LB signs with Wildcats after much drama

One of the better junior college players ended up at Arizona after decommitting from...Arizona

It was not the path that any of us thought it would be, but the Arizona Wildcats have officially landed three-star JUCO LB Josh Allen from Long Beach City College.

Originally committed to Arizona back in July, he decided to re-open his recruitment in October, when other Power Five schools started vying for his services.

None of those really turned out the way Allen thought they would though, and he ended up re-committing to Arizona on Tuesday.

The really unfortunate part of his decision to pursue his other options is that it will set him back a semester from his original plan. Allen was supposed to enroll at Arizona this spring, but obviously that didn't happen. He even sat out this year at Long Beach City College to make sure he would have more eligibility to play for Rich Rodriguez. That decision to sit out may also explain why he has dropped from a four-star to a three-star.

If he had been a part of this team in the spring, one could have booked it that he would contribute to the 2016 defensive line. Now? Who knows. But here's a look at some of his highlights to give you an idea of the ability he'll bring to Tucson in the fall.
