Arizona football recruiting: Wildcats offer linebackers LaMar Winston and Brayden Stringer

With the thought of Scooby Wright III leaving for the NFL after this season, Arizona is going to have a huge hole to fill. That's where the recruitment of linebackers LaMar Winston and Brayden Stringer come in to play.

Winston, a 4-star linebacker out of Central Catholic (Portland, OR), is ranked as the No. 16 linebacker in the country and No. 1 prospect out of Oregon. He holds offers to Michigan, Oregon and Washington, with his latest offer coming from Arizona just last week. His junior year highlights are below.

Brayden Stringer is the second linebacker Arizona offered, ranked 41st among all inside linebackers. At 6-2 200lbs, he holds offers to Texas A&M, Texas Tech, and Wisconsin among others. His junior year highlights are below.

Jake MatthewsDerrick Turituri and DeAndre' Miller will be holding down the linebacker spots in the future should Scooby declare for the NFL Draft. This is also a big year for Jamardre Cobb and Marquis Ware, as the 4-star linebacker duo from the class of 2014 have been plagued by injuries since arriving to Tucson. We will also see Kendall Franklin come in, a 3-star linebacker from the class of 2015, who could see the field and provide much needed depth for the linebacking corps.
