Pac-12 Basketball Recruiting: Seven Pac-12 teams with top 30 recruiting classes

An influx of youth could elevate the Pac-12 next year

With just a few recruits undecided, Pac-12 recruiting has essentially come to an end. Competition in the Pac-12 could be elevated to a whole new level this next year with an influx of youth. As of now, there are seven Pac-12 schools ranked in the top 30 recruiting classes of 2015, led by Arizona at No. 4.

Arizona will be without T.J. McConnell, Stanley Johnson, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Brandon Ashley next season. This leaves a lot of pressure on the returners, and even more pressure for the transfers/recruits to live up to the hype.

California can be a very scary team if they can piece it all together. They'll presumably have one year of Ivan Rabb and Jaylen Brown to go along with their returning talent, giving Arizona a run for their money to defend the Pac-12 title.

As for the rest on this list, you could expect Oregon and UCLA to remain in the top half of the Pac-12 standings throughout most the year, considering their returners and incoming class. Washington has had a lot of trouble this past year with guys leaving the program including Robert Upshaw and Nigel Williams-Goss. USC can only go up from here, after finishing the season with just three Pac-12 wins.

Don't be surprised to see Arizona State crack the top 25 here in the next few weeks. They're in line to land 5-star center Thon Maker, No. 10 ranked prospect in the nation, as well as former Duke player Rasheed Sulaimon.
