2015 NBA Combine: T.J. McConnell gets a late invitation
He will join Brandon Ashley, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, and Stanley Johnson at the combine.
Good news for T.J. McConnell -- though he initially was not invited to the NBA combine (while all of Arizona's early entry candidates were), McConnell was invited to the NBA combine at the last minute according to DraftExpress:
Arizona senior point guard T.J. McConnell (@iPass4Zona) got a last-minute invite to the 2015 NBA Draft Combine.

This is big for T.J.'s NBA chances. He currently is not projected to be drafted by NBADraft.net and could use the opportunity to get some attention against other NBA-caliber players. Arizona players have used pre-draft workouts to climb the draft board before -- Solomon Hill is the best example -- and this could be T.J.'s shot to do the same thing.
In particular, I would expect to see McConnell play 5-on-5 at the combine. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Stanley Johnson have both opted out of the 5-on-5 (as most top draft prospects do) and will just participate in the medical and physical testing, but I expect T.J. and Brandon Ashley will play and try to impress NBA scouts.
The NBA combine starts Tuesday in Chicago and runs until Sunday. The on-court activities, the most crucial for T.J., start on Thursday.
