Brandon’s Thoughts: Crump is another underrated player in this class. He is easily one of the best cover corners in the region.

He plays bigger than his size, and that is a great thing. He hits harder than you would think and is very physical at the line of scrimmage. This disrupts the receiver and allows him to use his cover skills to great effect.

Arguably his best skill, his ability to cover and make plays on the ball is what caught Demetrice Martin’s eye. He’s only going to get better as he continues on in his career and that will earn him playing time very early.

Gabe’s Thoughts: I think Crump is a nice piece for this position group. He’s a physical corner who can run with the fastest receivers. He appears to be well-coached and comes from a good football program so I’m interested to see how he does when he arrives in the fall. He is one guy I wish that was enrolling easy because I think the Demetrice Martin is the best position coach that Arizona has.

Corner is such a hard position to evaluate the depth chart. You have guys like Bobby Wolfe and McKenzie Barnes that didn’t get too much run, but are still very talented and in development.

Khary’s Thoughts on being a Wildcat: “I’m ready to take the next step in this football odyssey. I won on every level so far, Pop Warner and high school. I plan on continuing winning at U of A. There’s nothing like winning as the campus, fans, and Tucson embrace you. I can’t wait.”

Season Highlights:

Favorite Food: “Panda Express. Teriyaki chicken, orange chicken, half-in-half rice, and chow mien.”

Favorite Music Artist: “Tay K.”

Hobbies: “Video games (NBA2K and Madden), movies, and breaking down old film.”

Favorite Sports Team/Pro Athlete: “The Los Angeles Rams and and Deion Sanders.”

Biggest Supporter Throughout Your Career: “My parents.”

What You Like Most About Playing Football: “The team aspect of the game. Going through the tough times with your teammates and winning championships. Plus the physicality of the game.”

Fondest Memory of High School Career: “Winning the CIF Championship last year. Winning the Ocean League title this year. Beating Lawndale, the team who has beat me the previous 3 years. Going 13-0 with my brothers before losing 14-10 to St. Paul this year.

“I love winning football games. That’s what I want to bring to Arizona, that winning mentality. Let’s work hard and do what we got to do to win ball games.”

Major: “Business Management.”
