Brandon’s Thoughts: This is an important signing for Arizona...plain and simple. One, they held on to a very good player from within state without a DC or DL coach. Two, this recruitment was all thanks to Kevin Sumlin’s efforts. Three, Sumlin and Arizona have held off USC three times now since arriving in Tucson, the others being Jordan Morgan and Christian Roland-Wallace last year.

Terry is a good player. Gabe and I talked over the last year about how much we thought Terry was a must-get. For a time we thought he was bound for Boston College. And due to Terry’s quiet nature, I was unable to get a good read on this recruitment for some time.

Terry will come to Tucson with a nice set of pass rushing skills and size. He will need to work on his quickness a little more but once he does, watch out. I believe he will be an All-Conference player.

Gabe’s Thoughts: Since Arizona offered him I knew he was a must land. A huge, strong frame from within the state was a must land. Over the last few months I was convinced that he wasn’t coming to Arizona, but this is one that the staff actually did a really great job on.

I think Terry will slowly work into a role, perhaps he stars on special team. But over time he will be a big time contributor with some all-conference honors headed his way.
