Scottie Young Jr. suspended; Keyshawn Johnson Jr. not on Arizona’s roster
We finally got an update on these two, but not many details
If you have been following the Arizona Wildcats closely this spring, you’d know that free safety Scottie Young Jr. hasn’t been around the team.
He didn’t participate in the open scrimmage or the spring game, and was missing from social media posts like this one that included the entire safety room:

Still, there had been no official word from the UA on Young’s status until Saturday. That’s when head coach Kevin Sumlin said that Young is suspended, though he did not give a reason why.
“He’s just suspended,” Sumlin said.
Sumlin did not specify the length of Young’s suspension or if he expects Young to return.
“We’re just going to see where that process goes,” he said.
Young had off-the-field issues last September, getting arrested on domestic violence charges.
On the field, Young was a bright spot for the Wildcats in 2017. A true freshman, Young started in nine games at free safety, tallying 53 tackles (3.5 for a loss) and an interception.
Redshirt sophomore Jarrius Wallace has been the No. 1 free safety in the spring, and he recorded two interceptions in the Spring Game.

So when/if Young returns, he will have to work to regain his spot in the starting lineup, especially since Arizona’s new coaching staff has been adamant that it is using a “clean slate” when evaluating players this spring.
Wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson Jr. is enrolled at Arizona, but is not with the team this spring.
Thus, Sumlin declined to comment on him Saturday when asked for a status update.
“I’m not going to comment on anybody who’s not on the roster,” Sumlin said.
There’s probably no reason to fret. Johnson is in the UA’s phonebook — listed as a pre-business student — and his Twitter bio states “Student-Athlete @ The University of Arizona.”
Most likely, he will join the Wildcats for fall camp along with the incoming freshmen.
Johnson transferred in from Nebraska (sort of). The 6-foot-1 freshman was a four-star prospect out of high school, and will be eligible to play immediately, possibly providing a boost to UA’s receiving corps.
Here is more info on him.
