Arizona basketball: Rawle Alkins dunks over Sean Miller, wins the Red-Blue dunk contest
Alkins definitely earned his coach’s trust
The Arizona Wildcats unofficially kicked off the 2016-17 season with their annual Red-Blue scrimmage Friday night in McKale Center.
But just before the scrimmage got underway, five Wildcats — Chance Comanche, Kobi Simmons, Lauri Markkanen, Keanu Pinder and Rawle Alkins — competed in a dunk contest, putting their athleticism on display.
The winner? Rawle Alkins, who had a number of impressive dunks including one where he DUNKED OVER SEAN MILLER. Of course he received a perfect score of 50 with the slam.
.@Iam_RawleAlkins just dunked on Sean Miller. This is not a drill.

It’s only the Red-Blue game/dunk contest, but it’s already pretty clear that this year’s Arizona team is far more athletic than last year’s.
