Sonoran Hot Reads: Will Nick Wilson get 1,000 rushing yards in 2016?

Is a 1,000 yard rusher in Arizona's near future?

After a season filled with injury, Nick Wilson's value to the Arizona Wildcats offense became even more obvious than it was before 2015. As we head into his junior year, injuries are still a major question, but there are also lofty goals for the talented running back. ESPN wondered if each Pac-12 team would have a 1,000 yard rusher this year, and Arizona is in "Good Shape". Their reasoning:

As a true freshman, Nick Wilson had a monster season with 1,375 yards -- including 17 total touchdowns. His health likely determines Arizona's shot at a 1,000-yard rusher. Even though he was injured as a sophomore, he still had 725 yards. Last year was the first time in the Rich Rodriguez era that Arizona didn't have a 1K rusher. If Wilson returns to form, that should be a one-year anomaly.

- Does Arizona have enough pitching to make it back to Oklahoma City? Anthony Gimino thinks so. I'm not really sold on a two-pitch pitcher being able to make it out of a Super Regional

- Those Super Regional times have been announced. Arizona and Auburn will start play Saturday at 3:30 PM PT on ESPN2
