Arizona softball: Wildcats beat Tennessee on walk-off single, win Knoxville Regional

Arizona softball is headed to Super Regionals, where it'll face Auburn, the nation's No. 4 seed

In extra innings, Tamara Statman delivered a walk-off RBI single to lift the Arizona softball team to a 4-3 victory over the host Tennessee Volunteers, making the Wildcats the Knoxville Regional Champions.

The Wildcats went a perfect 3-0 in the regional with a win over Ohio State and a pair of wins over Tennessee, and it's the second year in a row that they've won a regional via a walk-off.

Danielle O'Toole threw two shutouts and, combined with some help from Taylor McQuillin, the Wildcats were able to hold opponents to just three runs combined in three games.

The Wildcats will now head to Auburn, Alabama, where they'll be in store for a three-game series with the Auburn Tigers next weekend. Auburn is the nation's No.4 overall seed and had a 52-9 record this season.

Should Arizona come away with a series victory, it'll head to the Women's College World Series, which is in Oklahoma City from June 2-8.
