Sonoran Hot Reads: Arizona Women's Golf advances to fourth round of NCAA Championships
Arizona looking to make it to the match play portion of the NCAA Championships
It was a very successful weekend for Arizona Wildcats women's sports. Softball got a walk-off single from Tamara Statman to advance to the Super Regional round. And on the links, women's golf made the cut for the fourth round of the NCAA Championships. The ladies are tied for 8th with Virginia at +9. If they are able to stay in the top eight after Monday's action, the team will move on to the match play tournament to decide the champion. On the individual side, freshman Haley Moore (pictured above) is tied for 7th at -4. She's nine strokes behind the leader, but just three strokes out of second place
And here's the outlook from Lindsey Weaver after her 71 (-1) #NCAAGolf #BearDown http://pic.twitter.com/qq0JTljaPA

- Track had a pretty good weekend too. There were personal records set by Gerhard de Beer and Sage Watson, and a stadium record set by Georganne Moline
Basketball
- Andre Iguodala scored nine points and pulled in four rebounds in the Warriors' big loss to the Thunder
Football
- Top commit Greg Johnson is helping recruit other guys to come to Arizona, and that can only mean good things
- Another commit, Kyle Wilborn, set his high school's shotput record
- Apparently Scooby Wright only worked out for one team
Baseball
- The Wildcats finish Pac-12 play at 16-14 after a 5-4 win on Sunday. Oregon put in all their seniors on Senior Day just because they were down by a lot, but it almost paid off big time for the Ducks
