Sonoran Hot Reads: Arizona Women's Golf advances to fourth round of NCAA Championships

Arizona looking to make it to the match play portion of the NCAA Championships

It was a very successful weekend for Arizona Wildcats women's sports. Softball got a walk-off single from Tamara Statman to advance to the Super Regional round. And on the links, women's golf made the cut for the fourth round of the NCAA Championships. The ladies are tied for 8th with Virginia at +9. If they are able to stay in the top eight after Monday's action, the team will move on to the match play tournament to decide the champion. On the individual side, freshman Haley Moore (pictured above) is tied for 7th at -4. She's nine strokes behind the leader, but just three strokes out of second place

Track had a pretty good weekend too. There were personal records set by Gerhard de Beer and Sage Watson, and a stadium record set by Georganne Moline
