Arizona football recruiting: 3-star defensive end Jake Burton commits to Arizona

What a week for Arizona football

Rich Rodriguez and company have received another commitment. This time, it is 3-star defensive end from Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA), Jake Burton.

The 6-6 250lb defensive end is the 42nd highest-ranked DE in the country, and the 85th highest-ranked player from the state of California.

He had offers from Cal, Boise State, UCLA, Purdue, and Vanderbilt, among others. He was one of many players that visited Tucson this weekend. That visit reportedly moved Arizona ahead of UCLA, who were considered the favorites until Saturday.

Burton is Arizona's fourth defensive line commit, with the other three being Josh Allen, Jabari Watson, and Justin Holt.
