Arizona football recruiting: London Iakopo commits to Wildcats

The second Long Beach City College product to commit

The 2016 Arizona Wildcats recruiting class has reached 14 members as Long Beach City College three-star safety London Iakopo has verbally committed.

Iakopo is the second LBCC prospect to commit this week. Four-star defensive end Josh Allen committed on Saturday.

Ranked as the 4th-best JuCo safety by 247Sports Composite, Iakopo measures in at 6-0 and 205 pounds. He also holds offers to Washington State and Iowa State.

This is not a surprise at all, especially after Allen made his decision official over the weekend. Back at the beginning of July, Iakopo told Gabe Encinas just how much the two teammates talk about playing at Arizona together, and how the Wildcats wanted him as a preferred walk-on out of high school.

It also seems to be an important get in relation to the recruitment of offensive lineman Michael Eletise.
