Arizona forward Stanley Johnson officially declares for NBA Draft

As expected, Stanley is one-and-done at Arizona

As many have speculated since the second he committed to Arizona, Stanley Johnson will be one-and-done in Tucson and head to the NBA Draft after his freshman season.

Johnson made the decision official at a press conference on Thursday after nearly a month of wishing and waiting from Arizona fans.

Johnson led the team in scoring in 2014-15, averaging 13.8 points per game in his 28.4 minutes play per contest. The star freshman was also second on the team in assists (63) and steals (57), but also had the most turnovers of any player (82).

DraftExpress currently has Johnson projected as the ninth overall pick in this year's NBA Draft, just ahead of Frank Kaminsky. ESPN has the Arizona forward ranked as the 11th-best prospect in this year's Draft.

Good luck to Stanley wherever he may end up when draft day rolls around.
