ASU vs. Arizona baseball: Time, TV and previewing the Wildcats against the Sun Devils

Game four of the five-game season series.

The first of two midweek games between the Arizona Wildcats and Arizona State Sun Devils goes down on Wednesday night at Hi Corbett Field.

Arizona will send Saturday starter Nathan Bannister to the mound because it is his regular bullpen day. ASU will counter with David Graybill.

Time: 7 PM

TV: Pac-12 Networks

Streaming: Pac-12.com

Mobile: Pac-12 App in the App Store and Google Play

Radio: 1290 AM in Tucson, 1060 AM in Phoenix

Bannister is coming off of a great start on Saturday in Corvallis. He will not go long on Wednesday because he'll still need to be ready to go on Saturday against Cal. Graybill has pitched just 5 2/3 innings all season long, including the final two outs of the Monday Arizona game after Ryan Burr got roughed up. The ASU righty has given up just one earned run in those almost six innings of work.

This game and next Tuesday's game are huge for Arizona if they still have NCAA Tournament on the brains. If you can pull off a season-series victory over a team like ASU, that would be a big statement, even though both of these games left are at home.

Behind Bannister, I would guess that Austin Schnabel would be the next guy out of the bullpen given how Xavier Borde did against ASU just a week and a half ago. Robby Medel is another name to expect running out of the 'pen on Wednesday.

I would expect this game to be relatively high-scoring since neither starter will probably last very long. It'll just come down to who can actually capitalize on every scoring chance.
