Arizona Football Recruiting: No. 1 ranked offensive guard Jack Anderson receives offer

A big time offer for the class of 2017

Arizona's offensive line has been pretty reliable over the past couple of years. With great size and experience, The Wildcats have been able to protect the quarterback and guide Ka'Deem Carey and Nick Wilson to success.

Arizona has been continuing to develop offensive linemen throughout their past few recruiting classes. They're looking to continue this trend with 2017 4-star offensive guard Jack Anderson. He is the No. 1 ranked offensive guard in the nation coming in at 6-5 285lbs, hailing from Frisco,TX.

He holds offers to Texas A&M and Texas Tech, who seem to be the leaders, as well as Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Auburn, among others. His stock has soared this winter, coming from 116th in the nation among all recruits, to currently being ranked 53rd. Since March 9th, he's received nine offers to power five conference schools.

This would be a huge get for Arizona, but it seems as if Anderson is wanting to stay within the state of Texas. You never know what can happen in the recruiting process of a 16 year old kid, but we can hope that Arizona makes a strong impression on Anderson. We can count on 4-star dual-threat quarterback Braxton Burmeister, who is already committed for 2017, to help recruit some of the top players in the nation.

Anderson's sophomore year highlights are below.
