How Arizona Wildcats fared in Week 7 of NFL season

Week 7 of the the NFL season is in the books! Here’s a rundown of how all the Arizona Wildcats in the league performed. (Note: This list does not include Reggie Gilbert and Jace Whittaker who are members of the Arizona Cardinals’ practice squad.)

Dane Cruikshank, Tennessee Titans

Cruikshank was activated for Sunday’s game vs. the Steelers and immediately made an impact, recording his first career interception on the only defensive snap he played all game.

Unfortunately, the Steelers hung on to win 27-24 as Titans’ kicker Stephen Gostkowski missed a potential game-tying field goal in the final moments.

Rob Gronkowski, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Sunday was National Tight Ends Day and Gronk celebrated in grand fashion. The 31-year-old caught five passes for 61 yards and a touchdown in a 45-20 win over the Raiders. It was his second straight week with a touchdown and at least 60 yards, as he continues emerging as a go-to target in Tampa.

Nick Foles, Chicago Bears

Foles had a rough showing on Monday Night Football, completing 28 of 40 passes for 261 yards and two interceptions in Chicago’s 24-10 road loss to the Los Angeles Rams. His 66.8 QB rating was his lowest of the season. It didn’t help that he was sacked four times and hit eight times.

Nick Folk, New England Patriots

Folk was responsible for every point in New England’s 33-6 loss to the 49ers, making field goals from 40 and 41 yards. He’s made 82 percent of his field goals and 10 of 11 extra points this season.

J.J. Taylor, New England Patriots

Taylor was inactive again. The undrafted rookie has not gotten any touches since Week 3. The Patriots are 0-3 during that span. Coincidence?

Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles, San Francisco 49ers

With the Niners winning so handily, DFF played a career-high 25 snaps, including 11 on defense. He finished with one tackle, giving him six on the season.

Will Parks, Philadelphia Eagles

Parks played 27 snaps—17 on defense and 10 on special teams—and made one tackle in a 22-21 Thursday night victory over the Giants. Since returning from injured reserve in Week 6, Pro Football Focus gives Parks a 49.4 player grade, a below average rating.
