2022 4-star guard Dylan Andrews has Arizona in Top 8
The Arizona Wildcats have a ways to go before their 2021 recruiting class is complete, but they are already making headway in the 2022 cycle.
Four-star point guard Dylan Andrews has the Wildcats in his Top 8 along with Oregon, UCLA, Stanford, ASU, Kansas, Louisville and North Carolina.
The Los Angeles native is the No. 29 player and No. 4 point guard in the country, per 247Sports composite rankings. He’s listed at 6-foot-4, 190 pounds.
Andrews plays for Windward School and the Compton Magic, the same AAU program that produced current Wildcat Dalen Terry and former Wildcat Gabe York.
“Andrews can be filed in the ‘explosive’ category of rising freshman guards,” wrote Devin Ugland of PrepHoops.com in 2018. “The 6-foot-1 Windward High product overpowered defenders in transition, getting into the paint at-will and finishing through contact. Andrews is also adept at attacking the basket out of high ball-screen situations as his blow-by speed and ability to keep defenders on his hip allows him to get good looks at the cup.”
