We have a kickoff time. And for Arizona Wildcats folks used to staying up super late for games, better set an alarm to make sure you get up in time.

Arizona’s Nov. 7 game at Utah, the 2020 season opener, will kick off at 2 p.m. MT and air on ESPNU. That’s actually the second-earliest game of the Pac-12’s initial slate, with ASU visiting USC for a 10 a.m. (!!!!) MT kickoff.

The Wildcats have lost four straight to the Utes, the last two under coach Kevin Sumlin by a combined scored of 77-17. Arizona hasn’t won in Salt Lake City since 2014.

Whether the game actually gets played, and at Rice-Eccles Stadium, is somewhat iffy at this point due to Utah’s recent spike in coronavirus cases. One of the Pac-12’s stipulations for canceling a game is local health officials’ stance on hospitals being able to handle a surge in activity, which is anticipated in the next few weeks due to record case numbers.

Utah reported more than 1,200 news cases on Monday, its sixth consecutive day of 1,200 or more. It had only had eight such days with that high a count prior to the past week.
