WATCH: Tony Amato, Jill Aguilera preview Arizona’s Pac-12 opener at No. 1 Stanford

Pac-12 soccer is back

The Arizona Wildcats soccer team is set to head to Palo Alto on Friday to open Pac-12 play against the No. 1 Stanford Cardinal.

The Wildcats (7-1) have won seven in a row and find themselves ranked 19th in the latest TopDrawerSoccer poll. The Cardinal, who are the defending national champions, enter at 7-0-1, loaded with the most talented roster in the sport.

However, they had their 29-game winning streak snapped Sunday when they tied No. 7 Santa Clara, 1-1. Arizona played Stanford tough last season, falling 1-0 in Palo Alto.

We caught up with UA head coach Tony Amato and forward Jill Aguilera to reflect on that game, discuss the rematch, and more. Here are their respective interviews.

We will have more soccer coverage later in the week.
