Brandon Williams moves up Gonzaga official visit

Maybe we won’t have to wait so long for a decision after all

Maybe we won’t have to wait so long for Brandon Williams to pick a school after all.

The four-star point guard has moved up his official visit with the Gonzaga Bulldogs from June 1 to April 28, he tweeted Tuesday night.

With the original scheduling, Williams wasn’t expected to commit to a school until mid-June. Now we might get a decision as early as late April or early May.

Williams is only considering three schools at this point: Arizona, Oregon, and Gonzaga. He tweeted out a video Tuesday in which the lyrics might hint that the Wildcats are in the lead, followed by Oregon, then Gonzaga.

WIlliams visited Oregon this past weekend and it “met all our expectations,” according to his stepfather Chris Wright.

The former UA commit has not visited Tucson since October, but the Arizona coaching staff has checked in on him several times since then.

Williams decommitted from Arizona on March 2 after the Sean Miller ESPN wiretap report. Since then, every 247Sports Crystal Ball prediction believes he will pick Oregon.

Either way, we should find out where Williams is heading sooner rather than later.
