2018 3-star TE Jake Peters signs with Arizona

Get to know the legacy Orange County tight end

The Arizona Wildcats added a piece to their already talented tight end corps on Wednesday, signing Jake Peters, a 3-star legacy from Southern California.

Both of his parents attended Arizona, and his dad played football for the ‘Cats.

Here is some more info on the future Wildcat.

My Thoughts: Peters’ junior season was cut short due to an Achilles injury. He worked and rehabbed hard during the offseason and was ready to go for his senior season. He has great hands and kind of reminds me of Bryce Wolma. He also has no qualms run blocking and is actually pretty good at it. He fits exactly what Rich Rodriguez is looking for in a tight end.

Senior Highlights:

Peters’ thoughts on becoming a Wildcat: “I’m so excited to be a Wildcat! I was thinking about it (early enrolling) but decided not to. You’re only in high school once. It’s crazy. I’m still very excited to get there and compete on June 17th.”

Favorite Food: “Easily chicken wings.”

Favorite Music Artist: “Post Malone.”

Favorite Sports Team/Pro Athlete: “My favorite sports team is the Minnesota Vikings and my favorite player is Rob Gronkowski.”

Hobby/Hobbies: “Xbox, surfing, and fantasy football.” He really likes the game Fortnite.

Major: “Business.”
