2018 3-star RB Darrius Smith signs with Arizona

Texas-based running back is heading to the desert

The Arizona Wildcats have signed their first Texas product in their 2018 class, inking three-star running back Darrius Smith on Wednesday.

Here is some info on the future Wildcat.

Height/Weight: 5-foot-10, 175 pounds

High School: Dawson High School

Hometown: Pearland, Texas

247Sports Ranking: National - 1,780th; Position - 112th

My Thoughts: Smith is a shifty back with pretty decent vision to see running lanes open up and burst through the hole. He does possess speed but can be caught from behind by defenders. If he can add about 10 more pounds to his frame and keep his speed and agility he can be a pretty decent player in the future.
