Sonoran Hot Reads: Scooby Wright and Will Parks two of the best NFL Draft values
At least one place thinks these Arizona players should have gone higher
With the NFL Draft in the books, grades and recaps and predictions are coming out all over the place. But there's one place that has both Arizona Wildcats that were taken as the best value picks in the draft. Pro Football Focus named Scooby Wright III (11th) and Will Parks (15th) among the 16 best picks that teams made last weekend. Somehow No. 1 overall pick Jared Goff is on this list, but whatever. PFF on Wright:
"Wright has some serious athletic limitations, but if there is one position where you can get away with being a bad athlete it's at inside linebacker. As a true sophomore he was second overall in our linebacker grading and after missing most of his junior year, Wright returned for their bowl game to collect an obscene 12 stops. He'll likely only be a two-down player at the next level, but no one in the class is quicker with their run-reads than Wright."
- This news has Bronco fans fully satisfied with their front office. Also, Parks has a number with the Broncos, and it's 34
- Scooby's Twitter handle is still @TwoStarScoob, but his Instagram has a fresh new look with @SeventhRoundScoob. He joined a Cleveland radio show to talk about his knee, jumping fences, and some other things
