2016 NFL Draft: David Richards signs with Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent

The 6-foot-4 receiver has a chance to make an NFL team

Another former Arizona Wildcats player has been snatched up by NFL team.

This time it's wide receiver David Richards apparently agreeing to join the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent, per his personal Twitter account:

Richards, a fifth-year senior, played in 48 games with the Wildcats and started 25 of them. In total, he caught 110 passes for 1,205 yards and 11 touchdowns.

His best season came just this past season as a senior, when he had 43 catches for 548 yards and six touchdowns, all of which were career-highs.

The 6-foot-4, 213 pound receiver filled in nicely when Trey Griffey missed most of the year with an injury, emerging as a big target for Arizona's quarterbacks, especially in the red-zone.

Richards' senior class won 33 games in four years, the winningest stretch in Arizona football history.

The details of Richards' agreement with the Falcons are unknown.
