College basketball polls: Arizona ranked 12th in AP, 11th in coaches rankings

A lot of losses from everyone else certainly helped

After the Arizona Wildcats were one of the only teams in the top 25 to not lose a game this week, it's no surprise that they made a fairly significant jump in this week's polls.

Arizona is now ranked 12th in the AP, and 11th in the coaches.

Here's a look at how both rankings shook out after a very strange week in college basketball:

The other good news for the Pac-12 is that the Wildcats are finally joined by another conference mate. That team is USC. The Trojans are 21st in the AP , and 25th in the coaches. Oregon is the only other team from the Pac-12 receiving votes in both polls.

According to College Poll Tracker, Arizona is ranked anywhere from 8th (Kevin McNamara) to 22nd (Scott Wolf), with most of their votes falling at 12th, which was their ultimate ranking.

The Wildcats travel to the Bay Area this week to take on Stanford on Thursday, and Cal on Saturday.
