Time for some international basketball

Sean Miller and Allonzo Trier have been busy, as the USA U-19 team has advanced to the quarterfinal round vs. Italy. Here's how you should be able to watch the action on Friday morning.

Basketball

- A couple of alum stories today. Stanley Johnson is listed at 33/1 odds to win the NBA's Rookie of the Year Award.

- Solomon Hill is participating in Summer League, even though he led the Pacers in minutes played last year.

- Go support the '88 Documentary on Kickstarter. We'll have more on the project next week.

Football

- Jabari Watson committed this week without ever visiting campus because of relationships with the coaching staff

- Gabe also talked to London Iakopo, who seems to be a likely future commit

Baseball

- Three of the six Arizona HOF inductees this year are associated with the baseball program. Andy Lopez shared his reaction with Tucson News Now

- Bobby Dalbec appeared on the USA Baseball podcast. The team shutout Cuba for the second-straight night on Thursday

Other sports

- Arizona will have two athletes at the World University Games. Diver Sam Pickens and volleyball player Laura Larson will both compete for Team USA.
