Arizona football: NFL.com tabs Scooby Wright with second-best intangibles in college football

There's lots of tangibles around him too

In their latest 15 for '15 series, NFL.com put out their 15 college football players with the best intangibles, and Arizona's own Scooby Wright III checks in at No. 2 on the list, just behind Ohio State's Braxton Miller.

Here is the reasoning they give for Scooby's high placement:

Armed with an unrelenting work ethic and a chip on his shoulder the size of a cinderblock, Wright embodies what scouts call a "high motor." In two years, he has gone from a disregarded recruit offered a scholarship only by Arizona to the only true sophomore ever named Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year. One need not be a star player to rate high on intangibles, but Wright checks both those boxes.

Yes, we all know the whole "Two-Star Scoob" story. But "high motor" is the ultimate white guy cliche when it comes to scouting college players. But we'll take it.

In addition to being named Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year, Wright won all kinds of awards last year, including National Defensive Player of the Year.

The one question I have with this though...does Braxton Miller, who could end up being Ohio State's third-string QB, really have more intangibles than Scooby Wright? Can you really say that about a guy on the bench? It seems like they just put him at the top of the list because he didn't transfer. That's either intangibles, or throwing away a lot of money in the future by not showcasing your skills elsewhere.
