NBA Summer League: Recapping Brandon Ashley's Monday
Checking in on Brandon Ashley
After a pretty good showing in his first game for the Atlanta Hawks, Brandon Ashley scored just four points on Sunday, and then picked up just three points in 20 minutes of play on Monday

Even though he didn't score a ton, he did impress some:
Like the way Brandon Ashley plays offense. Not scoring much, but makes good decisions on and off the ball.

And apparently he had a little run in with Hasheem Thabeet, who is playing for a D-League select team.
Hasheem Thabeet now talking trash after getting called for a foul trying to block a Brandon Ashley dunk.

Thabeet blocks Brandon Ashely on a dunk attempt, gets called for the foul. Tells Ashley to open his eyes when he tries to do that. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Brandon Ashley got blocked by Thabeet or that would have been a nice dime from Lil Dog.

Ashley certainly has a shot to at least get an invite to Hawks training camp, and their coach confirmed that on Monday.
Unsurprisingly, Kenny Atkinson said that Glenn Robinson III, Terran Petteway and Brandon Ashley are the non-roster guys w/ most attention.

Ashley and the Hawks will be back in action on Wednesday for the beginning of the Championship bracket after going 1-2 in their three games.
