Video: Robert Refsnyder records first MLB hit and first MLB home run
This is why the Yankees called him up
It took him six at bats, but former Arizona Wildcat outfielder Robert Refsnyder picked up his first career hit Sunday for the New York Yankees.
Then in his next at bat, Refsnyder went ahead and launched his first career home run, sending it over the Green Monster.
As a side note, Yankee radio guy John Sterling has catchphrases for each player's home runs, and this is apparently what he came up with for Refsnyder.
John Sterling's call: "Rob Refsnyder has Seoul. He hits a two-run homer into left, and the #Yankees take an 8-4 lead!"

Ok then.
Congrats to Rob, and certainly there's more of these to come in his future at the Major League level.
