Arizona football: Cayleb Jones named to Biletnikoff Award watch list

Could be an even bigger year for the Texas transfer

The Biletnikoff Award is given each year to the nation's top receiver, and Cayleb Jones represents the Arizona Wildcats on the 2015 watch list.

Jones started the 2014 season putting up huge numbers, but his hand injury, combined with Anu Solomon's ankle injury, dampened those numbers later on in the year.

He still led all Arizona receivers with 1,019 receiving yards and nine touchdowns. He also had a kick return touchdown on an onside kick.

Jones wasn't the only Wildcat added to an award watch list on Wednesday. Place kicker Casey Skowron was named to the Wuerffel Trophy watch list, which is an award given out as a community service award.

It seems like every day there's been a new Arizona player on a watch list, and that should continue through the end of the week as watch lists for the nation's top quarterback and running back are on their way, as well as the Walter Camp watch list.

Congrats to Cayleb and Casey. Hopefully we'll see more big numbers from both of them this season.
