Arizona football: Anu Solomon and Scooby Wright named to Walter Camp Award watch list
Two Wildcats find themselves in the Player of the Year conversation
The final watch list to be announced over the last two weeks is the biggest, and that is for the Walter Camp Player of the Year. There are two Arizona Wildcats that find themselves with the honor, as both redshirt sophomore quarterback Anu Solomon and junior linebacker Scooby Wright III made the cut on Friday.
Ohio State has five players on the 50-man list, including all three potential quarterbacks, which is just ridiculous. Michigan State, Duke, USC, Notre Dame, Stanford and UCLA are the other schools with multiple players on the watch list.
This has been an extremely successful award watch list season for Arizona, which should be expected from a team that won the Pac-12 South, and returns all the key pieces from last year's team.
A look back: 2012: 4 players/3 awards 2013: 2 players/4 awards 2014: 3 players/5 awards 2015: 8 players/12 awards #BearDown #HardEdge

Expectations are high. Will the team live up to them? Only time will tell, but still pretty cool to see Arizona have so many players gain national recognition before the season even starts.
