Originally committed to New Mexico, Lightfoot reopened his recruiting process and has been gathering plenty of attention ever since.
He is currently ranked as the No.1 prospect in Arizona and 38th best power forward in the nation. Lightfoot has picked up offers from Kansas, Stanford, Creighton, and Arizona throughout the last few weeks.
Originally from Tucson, Lightfoot was previously enrolled at Ironwood Ridge High School his freshman and sophomore year. He then had to transfer to Gilbert Christian due to his father's new job.
Out of Gilbert Christian, Lightfoot led the Knights to a 25-6 record and a Division II State Championship. The 6-9, 210lb forward averaged 19 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks his junior season.
