Hawaii hires ex-ASU coach Todd Graham, whose first game will be at Arizona

After spending a couple years away from college football, former Arizona State coach Todd Graham was hired as the new head man at Hawaii on Tuesday, replacing Nick Rolovich who departed for Washington State.
Moving from Tempe to Honolulu is quite the change of scenery, but don’t worry, Graham’s first game with the Warriors will be at a familiar venue—Arizona Stadium.
That’s right. The Arizona Wildcats will host Graham’s Hawaii team in Week 0 of the 2020 season, looking to avenge last year’s loss to the Warriors.
Graham went 46-32 in six seasons (2012-17) at ASU before being fired and replaced by Herm Edwards. During his tenure, Graham went 4-2 against Arizona, including a 42-30 win in Tempe in 2017 that capped a 7-5 regular season but was not enough to save his job.
Graham’s last appearance at Arizona Stadium, you ask? The 2016 Territorial Cup. Did you know Arizona won that game 56-35 without throwing a pass in the second half? Who could forget.
