New Skybox Club set to open at Arizona Stadium this fall

Got an extra $3,000 lying around? Then have we—or rather the Arizona Wildcats—have a deal for you!

A new “premium seating” area at Arizona Stadium, called the Skybox Club, is set to open in time for the 2019 home football opener Sept. 7 against NAU. It will be located on the third floor of the structure above the west-side bleachers.

Per the school, the Skybox Club will include “access to an exclusive pregame buffet and upgraded beverage service with beer and wine available to purchase. The state-of-the-art space will allow fans to watch the game in an open-air environment while enjoying a new sound system, hospitality areas with picturesque views of Tucson and new television displays.”

All it will cost you to get in is $3,000. Per person. Per game. A small price to pay for such luxury, right?

The Skybox Club is the latest upgrade to Arizona Stadium in recent years, along with the completely rebuilt north side and a massive renovation of the Zona Zoo student section on the lower level of the east side. But this new amenity may only be temporary if Arizona sticks with its plan to tear down the west side of the stadium and put up a new structure, as athletic director Dave Heeke mentioned in April during the Spring Game.
