Mike Candrea, Taylor McQuillin and Malia Martinez discuss GCU series and lots more

The Arizona softball team is clicking right now, carrying a 14-game winning streak into this weekend’s non-conference series at Grand Canyon.

The Wildcats won five games last week, sweeping a doubleheader against UTEP before sweeping a three-game series at Utah.

Junior third baseman Malia Martinez drove in 18 runs during that stretch. We caught up with her, head coach Mike Candrea and pitcher Taylor McQuillin on Tuesday to discuss a variety of topics.
