Channing Frye to return to Arizona to host CATSYS
He has some big shoes to fill
Channing Frye is returning to Tucson to host the third annual CATSYS on April 22, Arizona athletic director Dave Heeke announced Wednesday.
Open to the public, the CATSYS is an award show in which student-athletes are recognized for their athletic, academic and community successes.
Richard Jefferson and Miles Simon hosted the second annual CATSYS last season after Luke Walton hosted the inaugural show in 2017.
Jefferson and Simon generated quite a few laughs last year, especially when Jefferson reminisced about his 1997 recruiting visit with a not-so-sober Walton.

I’m sure Frye, also know for his eccentric personality, will have plenty of fun stories to share. about his time at the UA.
The former Wildcat recently announced his retirement after a 14-year career in the NBA.
