Arizona offers JUCO center Emmanuel Ugboh
Looking to shore up their frontcourt, the Arizona Wildcats have offered junior college big man Emmanuel Ugboh.
Listed at 6-foot-11, 242 pounds, Ugboh attends Iowa Western Community College where he has started the last two seasons.
The Nigerian averaged 12.0 points, 9.6 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in just 18.8 minutes this season, while shooting 65 percent from the field and 54 percent from the charity stripe.
Ugboh, who goes by “Manny”, has 15 offers, including from LSU, Kansas State, UConn, Nebraska, and Ole Miss.

Previously, Ugboh attended Quality Education Academy in Winston Salem, North Carolina where he averaged eight points, nine rebounds and four blocks per game.
Arizona could use his rim-protection. The Wildcats ranked 293rd (of 353) in the country in shot blocking percentage this season. Ira Lee and Chase Jeter only averaged 0.7 and 0.6 blocks per game, respectively.
Ugboh has two years of eligibility remaining and can play immediately at his new school.
