Latest NBA Draft projections for Deandre Ayton, Rawle Alkins, and Allonzo Trier

How many Arizona Wildcats will get drafted this year?

The 2018 NBA Draft order was set Tuesday, so now is as good of a time as any to see where the Arizona Wildcats’ prospects are slated to be picked.

As a reminder, the draft is set for June 21 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Deandre Ayton

It’s virtually a lock that Ayton will be selected with one of the first two picks, but it will be interesting to see if a consensus develops over the next month or so.

Right now, experts are seemingly split between him and Luka Doncic for the No. 1 pick.

Rawle Alkins

It’s not always easy to find mock drafts that include the second round, but all the ones I did find included Alkins. Sports Illustrated believes he might sneak into the first round, but it seems like his stock is currently early-to-late second round. A strong showing the NBA Combine could certainly do him some good.

Allonzo Trier

Trier will have some work to do at the combine. Every major mock draft projects he will go undrafted, and Sports Illustrated published a rather unflattering critique of his game last month.

If Trier does go undrafted, he could take a similar route as Kobi Simmons, who went undrafted, inked a two-way contract, and split time between the NBA and G League.
