Arizona baseball picked to finish 4th in Pac-12 preseason poll
Which is where they finished last year
Arizona baseball was picked to finish fourth in the Pac-12 Conference, according to the preseason coaches poll released Monday.
The Wildcats were slotted behind Oregon State, UCLA, and Stanford. Oregon State received 10 of the 11 first place votes with the other going to Stanford.

With 67 points, Arizona placed ahead of California, Oregon, and Washington. Rival Arizona State was picked to finish 8th in the conference. USC, Washington State, and Utah round out the conference rankings.
Arizona opens its season this weekend with a home series against Bryant.
The first game of the series is Friday at 6 p.m. Right-hander Cody Deason will start for the Wildcats. The junior went 5-3 with a 3.86 ERA in 53.2 innings last season.
Arizona went 38-21 in 2017 with a 16-14 record in the Pac-12, good for fourth place in the standings. The Wildcats are the only team in the Pac-12 to make back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances.
