13 former Arizona Wildcats are currently playing in the Association, while a few others are coaching in it.
The full list can be found below, along with some updates on where non-NBA ‘Cats are currently playing professionally.
Wildcats in the NBA
Kadeem Allen — Boston Celtics
- Allen is signed to a two-way contract, meaning he can only be on Celtics’ roster for a maximum of 45 days. The rest of the time Allen will be in the G League with the Maine Red Claws.
Jerryd Bayless — Philadelphia 76ers
Channing Frye — Cleveland Cavaliers
Aaron Gordon — Orlando Magic
- The Magic and Gordon recently failed to reach a contract extension, meaning Gordon will be a restricted free agent at the end of the season.
Solomon Hill — New Orleans Pelicans
- Will miss most of the regular season with a torn hamstring.
Andre Iguodala — Golden State Warriors
Richard Jefferson — Denver Nuggets
- Jefferson was recently traded by Cleveland to Atlanta, then was signed by Denver after being waived by the Hawks.
Rondae Hollis-Jefferson — Brooklyn Nets
Stanley Johnson — Detroit Pistons
T.J. McConnell — Philadelphia 76ers
Lauri Markkanen — Chicago Bulls
- Markkanen is Chicago’s opening day starter.
Kobi Simmons — Memphis Grizzlies
- Like Allen, Simmons is on a two-way contract, and will spend most of his rookie season with the Memphis Hustle of the G League.
Jason Terry — Milwaukee Bucks
