Danielle O’Toole throws first pitch at Angels game

The latest event in what has been a busy summer for the left-hander

Danielle O’Toole has done some cool things since her Arizona Wildcats career ended.

She threw a one-hitter for Team USA against the No. 1 team in the world, signed with the Chicago Bandits, and now has made a guest appearance at an MLB game.

The left-hander threw the first pitch at the Nationals-Angels game Tuesday at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, and showcased a new addition to her repertoire — an overhand delivery:

It’s been a busy summer for O’Toole, who is splitting time between USA Softball and the Bandits.

She played for Team USA in the World Cup of Softball earlier in July, then made her debut with the Bandits this past Sunday.

O’Toole has trips to Japan and the Dominican Republic with Team USA still on the docket this summer (and a tour stop in Alabama), plus a handful of games with the Bandits.

She’ll pitch in a countless number of venues in the next couple months, and Tuesday, one just happened to be an MLB stadium.
