Arizona football recruiting SitRep: Wildcat staff putting in work for 2019 and 2020 classes

Ten offers given out to future class prospects

The Arizona Wildcats continued working on their current class this week while also focusing attention on future classes. The Spring Evaluation period is nearing its end (about two weeks left) and the ‘Cats are ensuring they are getting early starts on recruits they like and establishing that communication.

Timothy Mosley

The 3-star Los Angeles-Dorsey standout received his offer from the Wildcats at the beginning of May after Marcel Yates visited his school. Yates was impressed with Mosley’s grades and skills on the football field, enough to extend the offer.

The Wildcats are sitting in a good spot with Mosley. He has high interest in Arizona and likes the history of the program. He has heard multiple alumni and other people talk about the school and that has also peaked his interest. He is working on setting up an official visit to Tucson.

Arizona hosted a couple of visitors over the weekend. Neither have offers but it might be something to keep an eye on as the 2018 class moves forward.

• Redshirt sophomore defensive end Justin Belknap was awarded a scholarship on Sunday afternoon, just in time for Mother’s Day. Belknap had a solid year last season with 16 tackles, 2.5 TFL, a sack, and 2 PBUs.
