Sonoran Hot Reads: Mizzou giving away Chick-Fil-A breakfast before Arizona game

Gotta keep people from studying for finals

At this time of year, a lot of college basketball programs struggle to fill up their arenas because of finals, pending holiday travels, etc. So the Missouri Tigers will try to combat this a little bit Saturday morning when they host the Arizona Wildcats. The first 500 students that show up to the game are going to get free breakfast sandwiches from Chick-Fil-A. This excites sophomore guard Terrence Phillips:

Phillips and a couple of other players actually went out and handed out tickets to students that answered trivia questions to try and get more people at this game. This Kim Anderson quote about starting this game at 11 AM local is pretty good too: “You’ve got the whole day ahead of you. If you want to go hunting, fishing, whatever you want to do, shopping, you’ve got plenty of time to do that.”
