Report: Arizona Cardinals to sign Scooby Wright from the Browns’ practice squad
The former Wildcat is coming back to Arizona
The Arizona Cardinals are dealing with a multitude of injuries, and they appear to be bringing in a very famous Arizona Wildcats defender to counter that issue.
Fox Sports 910’s Mike Jurecki was the first to report that the Cardinals were going to sign Scooby Wright III off of the Cleveland Browns’ practice squad.

Wright never played in a regular season game with the Browns this year. In four preseason games, Scooby recorded eight total tackles, including four in the final preseason game against the Chicago Bears.
The Cardinals are 5-7-1 this year, and are actually second in the league in total defense, and could be first after the Patriots’ 496 yards against the Ravens on Monday night get factored in.
Scooby’s first game with the squad will be in Glendale on Sunday when they face the New Orleans Saints.
