Sonoran Hot Reads: The biggest injuries in recent Arizona history

What is the biggest injury blow to any Arizona sports team?

After the unfortunate news of Ray Smith deciding to retire from basketball after suffering yet another ACL tear, it left Anthony Gimino wondering what the biggest injuries in recent Arizona sports history have been. Smith checks in at No. 5, with Kenzie Fowler, Scooby Wright, Brandon Ashley, and Rob Gronkowski as picks 4-1. I believe Fowler should be above Wright, as that would make the top three injuries having to do with realistic National Championship/Rose Bowl aspirations. 2015 Arizona football did not miss out on winning the conference because of Scooby. 2009 Arizona football, 2014 Arizona basketball, and three years of softball teams missed out on bigger and better things because of their injuries
