Arizona football injury report: Nick Wilson out versus Washington State, Michael Barton questionable

Neither Anu Solomon nor Brandon Dawkins are listed on the injury report, though

Looking for their first Pac-12 victory, the Arizona Wildcats (2-6 overall, 0-5 Pac-12) will head to Pullman to take on No. 25 Washington State (6-2 overall, 5-0 Pac-12) this weekend, and will do so with running back Nick Wilson and possibly starting linebacker Michael Barton out of the lineup.

Here is Arizona’s full injury report:

Probable: DL Sani Fuimaono (concussion)

Questionable: LB Michael Barton (knee), CB DaVonte’ Neal (ankle)

Doubtful: None

Out: WR Tyrell Johnson (hamstring), RB Nick Wilson (knee)

Of note is that quarterbacks Brandon Dawkins and Anu Solomon aren’t on the report, meaning they’ll likely both be available to play for the second week in a row. It’s unknown who will start, though.

Sani Fuimaono, who missed last week’s game versus Stanford with a concussion, appears to be set to return to the return to the lineup, providing a boost to Arizona’s defensive line.

Barton and DaVonte’ Neal are questionable, and Barton’s absence would especially hurt, as he’s a key member of the Wildcats’ linebacking corps.

If he is unable to go, the depth chart asserts that Jake Matthews will start at MIKE linebacker in his place.

All things considered, the Wildcats are fairly healthy, and we’ll see if that can help them upset the Cougars.

Kickoff off in Pullman is set for Saturday at 1 p.m., and the game will be televised on the Pac-12 Network.
