Arizona football injury report: Paul Magloire Jr. doubtful, Jacob Alsadek questionable against Oregon State

The Wildcats will likely be without their leading tackler against Oregon State

The Arizona Wildcats (2-8, 0-7 Pac-12) are looking for their first conference win of the season and will travel to Corvallis to take on Oregon State (2-8, 1-6) on Saturday night in an attempt to secure it.

But, the Wildcats will likely be without their leading tackler in linebacker Paul Magloire Jr., as Magloire was listed as doubtful on this week’s injury report.

Magloire has 67 tackles and 7.5 tackles for loss this season.

Here is Arizona’s full injury report:

Probable: WR Tyrell Johnson (hamstring)

Questionable: OL Jacob Alsadek (ankle)

Doubtful: LB Paul Magloire Jr. (groin)

Out: OL Gerhard de Beer (knee), RB Nick Wilson (knee)

Notably, the offensive line will be without at least one starter in right tackle Gerhard de Beer, and possibly two as starting guard Jacob Alsadek is listed as questionable.

Running back Nick Wilson will miss the Oregon State game and UA head coach Rich Rodriguez noted a couple weeks ago that Wilson is likely out for the season.

Speedy wide receiver Tyrell Johnson apparently will return the lineup, though. Johnson, who has also played some running back, hasn’t played since Arizona’s 48-14 loss to USC on Oct. 15.

Kickoff for Saturday’s game is set for 8:30 p.m. MST and the game will be televised on the Pac-12 Network.
