Arizona football: Brandon Dawkins not dressed for USC game

Khalil Tate appears to be making his first career start

After suffering a concussion vs. the Utah Utes last week, Arizona Wildcats quarterback Brandon Dawkins is not dressed this week for their contest against the USC Trojans.

As warmups have begun on the field, Dawkins is wearing a sweatshirt and shorts, while Khalil Tate, Zach Werlinger and Matt Morin warmup.

Anu Solomon is not even listed on the gameday depth chart for Arizona this week after being listed as doubtful on the injury report. Morin, who is typically used as the holder on kicks, is listed as the backup over walk-on Werlinger.

Tate grew up in Los Angeles, so his first start will come against the hometown team. Morin has not thrown a pass since attending Riverside CC. He was converted to a tight end at San Diego State, and is currently listed at 6-foot-2, 235 pounds.

This could get interesting at quarterback if Tate suffers some sort of injury during the game.
