Sonoran Hot Reads: Arizona puts out Office Space-themed ad

Um....yeah

As the Arizona Wildcats look to sell the Arizona Stadium experience to fans, they’ve been trying out some new things. First was the "Our House" campaign, and with that has come this, an Office Space-themed commercial:

I am someone who stops on Office Space every time it’s on TV, and when pictures of Greg Byrne dressed as Lumbergh surfaced, I hit my Jump To Conclusions Mat and thought a great video was in store. Maybe I’m in the minority, but it’s just alright, not great

- One year from Friday, Arizona plays Houston in Tucson. This is a cool read from Pete Thamel on spending a week with the Cougars

- Gabe chatted with a Bishop Gorman offensive lineman that has ties to true freshman Michael Eletise

- Join our Pick ‘em challenge. I’m leading after week one, so come make sure that doesn’t happen again

Basketball

- Ryan wrote some things you should know about new Arizona commit DeAndre Ayton. But Bruce Pascoe wonders if the No. 1 recruit will actually make it to campus

- No offense to Ray Smith, but he probably got destroyed in this:

Baseball

- Kevin Newman was 2-for-5 with a couple runs scored in Altoona’s playoff loss to Akron

- Scott Kingery was 0-for-4 with three strikeouts in Reading’s loss to Trenton

Other sports

- Soccer hosts Northern Illinois and San Francisco this weekend. Cali Crisler is tied for the team lead with three goals, and she’s excited about the youth on this year’s team

Tucson news

- Sun Tran fares could increase for the first time in five years

- UA-led OSIRIS-REx is set to launch on Thursday. There are several watch parties going down around campus, University and Downtown
